SURPRISED to receive a phone call from Education MN
President Denise Sprecht last night informing me that REACH Stewartville and I
are receiving the 2019 Ed. MN Human Rights Award, not only for our work with
Stewartville students, but also for contributions to other school districts and
programs from across the state and country, as well as collaboration with other
schools to educate them about trauma-informed/responsive education. Honored to
join an impressive and inspiring group of individuals who have previously
received this award.
