Mr. Parry's Endurance Challenge (2009-2013)

Mr. Parry's Endurance Challenge seems like a lifetime ago now. While at Saturday School this morning I ran into a book I completely forgot about. I wrote one of the chapters in "Endurance Planet Tales of Extreme Endurance". In my chapter, "Sharing The Passion For Running", I wrote about Mr. Parry's Endurance Challenge (2009-2013). This 100 mile run over 24 hours was used as a way to motivate my students to get out and exercise. The 17 hour treadmill run was used to raise over $15,000 for kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend Y camps and programs because of financial needs. I miss those days very much!
