Who Controls Your Happiness?

Who controls your overall happiness? Today's REACH lessons covers Character Standards 3, 4, and 13. These standards state that students will understand that they control their own attitudes and resulting behaviors and, in turn, these attitudes and behaviors influence others around them. Students will also practice gratitude and understand how this affects their overall happiness and productivity. Immediate happiness can easily go up and down throughout the day dependent on outside influences. One way we can control this is by looking for things that we are grateful for. Students went through the simple exercise in this Joe Beckman video. I would encourage you to do the same, even if only in your head. You will be happy that you did!
