I had a senior who is in her 5th year of REACH come into our classroom this morning with an excited look on her face. She said she had something important to show me. It was a college acceptance letter she received yesterday in the mail! I am so incredibly proud of this young woman for her acceptance, but even more so for moving past the adversity she has faced to pursue her dreams!
